If local data is deleted from the device, lost because of device damage, or removed when the application is uninstalled, recovery may depend on whether a separate backup was previously created.

When a user chooses to create, export, restore, or otherwise use a backup, the application data involved in that operation may be processed or transferred according to the selected backup method.
